Bait
What’s the difference between shelf-life and freezer baits?
Shelf-life baits are dried and preserved so they keep in the cupboard for months, ideal for keeping a bag in the car. Freezer baits have no preservatives, so they’re as fresh and attractive as they can be, but need to go in the freezer as soon as they arrive.
How should I store my bait?
Keep shelf-life baits somewhere cool and dry, in a breathable bag rather than sealed plastic. Freezer baits should be frozen on arrival and taken out the night before your session.
Which size boilie should I use?
As a rough guide: 12–15mm for smaller waters, wary fish or when there are lots of nuisance fish about; 18–20mm or bigger for larger fish, long sessions or where small fish keep picking up your hookbait. Ask us about your water and we’ll suggest a size.
Do you make custom or bulk batches?
Yes. For clubs, syndicates or bulk orders, get in touch with what you’re after and how much, and we’ll quote you.
